Testimonial #1

At the last parent  teacher conference I had when my son Angel was about to finish preschool  his teachers advised me that he was not at the reading level he was expected to be for kindergarten in fact he was not even recongizing all of his ABC's.  That concerned me very much since I knew that kids that know how to read well are more successful at school and have better grades, so I decided to get some help for him during the summer.  One day I expressed my concern to one of my coworkers, and she recommended Jamie Mincy, so I called her and I was immediately impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly she sounded over the phone.

One of the things I was glad for was that she gave me a lot of options for the places that we could meet for the lessons and tried to work around my schedule, and the price she offered was very reasonable.  Once my son met her and took his first lesson, I had no doubt that I had made the right decision.  He was very happy taking classes even though it was summer he did not mind because she encouraged and motivated him to learn by creating a fun and positive learning environment. Needless to say when he returned to school he was ready, reading at a higher level for a kindergartener and very confident reading books that were for first graders.  Angel is now a third grader, but he is reading and comprehending at a 5th grade level, and he is doing very well in school.

Two years later, when my daughter Amy was finishing preschool I called Jamie, and she helped my daughter just as much as she helped my son, and they both still remembered and love Mrs. Jamie.

I would not only recommend Jamie, but I would have to say that she touches kid's hearts because she rewards them with positive reinforcement.  She has a dynamic and creative learning program and she provides personal attention to each and everyone, including the parents.
